OLSR Detail:Topology Diffusion

• OLSR declares partial topology:
  
  
  • all destinations are declared;
    
    
  • a subset of links are declared;
    
    
  • only a subset of nodes declare topology to the network.
    
    
• Basic mechanism:
  
  
  • MPR nodes transmit, periodically, TC messages;
    
    
  • a TC message contains the MPR selector set of the source of the message.
    
    
  • (TC messages may also be triggered by link failures).
