Temporal Partial Topology

• Idea from Fisheye State Routing:
  
  
  • the farther away a node, the less accurate information is required,
    
    
  • for really-far-away nodes, direction suffices.
    
    
• Mechanism in OLSR:
  
  
  • transmit TC messages �gfrequently�h to close nodes, �grarely�h to far-away nodes;
    
    
  • i.e. report local links to far-away nodes �grarely�h
    
    
  • reduce overhead by reducing forwards of TC messages.
