Nobuo Kawaguchi, Dr. Eng.

He received BE, ME, and Dr. Eng. at Nagoya University in 1990, 1992
 and 1997. Since 1995, he has been a faculty member of Nagoya University.
He was a member of information technology center, and graduate school of 
information science, and graduate school of engineering of Nagoya Univeristy. 
In 2004, he found a venture company in the area of ubiquitous computing
 and works as a CTO. Currently, he is a associate professor of
 graduate shcool of enginnering, Nagoya University.
 He has developed a Java based mobile-agent middleware for ubiquitous 
computing named "cogma" since 1999. This software serve a base of the 
venture company.  He also develop a wireless location  portal site 
"Locky.jp". Locky.jp gathers more than 300 thousand of wireless AP 
information.


Specialties
 Mobile computing, ubiquitous communication, computer networks,
and location information systems.

Research Interests
 His primary interest are in the area of ubiquitous communication, 
mobile computing, wireless networks, context-awareness and location 
based information systems. His research group are developing 
technologis to support ubiquitous communications which enable 
anyone to access any information at anyplace, anytime , anywhere.
