BE and ME from University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo in 1990, 1992. He jointed Japan Communication Satellite Co. (Now JSAT Co.) in 1992 as systems engineer at Yokohama Satellite Control Center¡¡(YSCC). He received his Ph.D from Keio University in 2003. Since 2005, he has been working at Intel Japan as a senior researcher. He has been WIDE project researcher since 1992 and now he is a board member of WIDE project Specialties Communication network, wireless communication, satellite communication, IP over satellite and mobile computing. Research Interests He spent more than 10 years in communication industry and works as a senior systems engineer. His role in the satellite industry include, network design and operation, satellite design and manufacturing, design and implement a satellite performance measurement system, IP network design over the satellite. He also spend a lot of time for the standardization in IETF for the RFC3077 (UDLR). Now he is interested in the future wireless network technology such as WiMAX and its deployment. |
